These days, a lot of words get thrown around so much that they start to lose some of their meaning. I remember a time when the word "epic" was only used on things that were monumental in scale, majestic even. President Obama's visit came at a time when Japan is rethinking its policies towards the United States. Dear Twins,  Where did all the chivalry go?  I am appalled at how men don't get up on the subways and let the women stand (including the more mature women).  I've even seen grown men with their children letting an older woman stand. The death of an individual is certainly sad, but the act of murder is an entirely different matter, especially when the victims are close family members. Especially when the murderer is a child.
