Bottle Bill Becomes Better
The Bottle Bill, which requires a five-cent deposit on all beer and soda containers, has been extended to cover bottled water as of October 31st. Each year, more than 3.2 billion bottles of water are sold in New York alone.

Last week History Prof. Louis Fishman hosted OneVoice, an international nonpartisan group consisting of mainly Israelis and Palestinians aiming to establish a peace resolution in the Mideast, in his Israeli-Palestinian Conflict class.

BC Students Suggest Change
Wikipedia defines a suggestion box as "a device for obtaining additional comments, questions and requests. Usually, though, when one thinks of such an apparatus, the word "empty" comes to mind.
However, the concept is a universally accepted and appreciated one; but how many people actually take the time out to scroll down a problem on a piece of paper, fold it ever-so-neatly and stick it in a big, black box labeled "suggestions?" Chances are, not too many.…
